Hey, if you think the health care control bill that just passed in the senate and will be negotiated in committee was too invasive to your privacy, then you obviously have not been to an airport recently.

Since a Nigerian man without proper credentials was allowed to board a flight into the US and attempted to bring down a plane, the incompetent TSA is pushing for new rules to stop these types of attacks.

In Briton it was just announced that the security at the airports will be increased and within the next three weeks, full body scans will be done on all passengers. Don't want to be scanned naked? Too bad, or just do not fly.

Here in the US, the TSA has resorted to full body searches. Groping men, woman and tiny babies in their most personal areas. Some of the old mainstream media showed a few passengers who said they were fine with it so long as it kept them safe. Apparently, they know nothing of Benjamin Franklin.

How long before child molesters, and sexual deviants start working for the TSA? Lets pray that no one decides to sneak something in a body cavity. I guess TSA'S response to that will be invasive cavity searches while you wait to be groped.

Since TSA accidentally let out their security plans last month along with full images of credentials that could be copied to bypass their security system online, I would be wary of flying anyways.

Is it time for change? Give up all our liberty for a little safety and have neither or stand up and say enough already?

One of the biggest changes is to stop voting for candidates with an (R) or a (D) after their names. Start supporting candidates that support the Constitution. Yes punish the incumbents by voting them out, but don't let fake conservatives in office either. Check out the Libertarian or the Constitution Party and get our nation back to where it needs to be. Justice and Liberty for all.

Subject: Don't Despair, Renew Your Resolve to Fight

On Christmas Eve, the cynical Scrooge's of the United States Senate voted to expand the size of government, as well as its power and reach into the medical system.

Even thought it's a chilly Christmas, I'm here to tell you, the battle is NOT over.

On a freezing December day, Lieutenant General Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller, USMC, during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, told his men,

"We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things."

I've spoken to and corresponded with DC Downsizers this week who were tempted to despair. They rightly recognize this bill as a dangerous blow, to our healthcare, to our economy, and to our liberty. They saw yesterday's vote coming, and they see defeat, and worse, the destruction to follow with this tremendously unconstitutional bill.

But I want you to know, "We've found the enemy. We're surrounded. That simplifies things."

Your enemies are the Democrats who supported this bill. And your enemies are the Republicans, who didn't bother to fight until Americans showed up at Town Hall Meetings and vented their anger.

Yes, your enemies include the very same Republicans who pushed through a bailout bill, now a little more than a year ago. And, if history is any guide, they will be your enemies when they return to power and refuse to do anything to repeal this so-called healthcare reform . . .

. . . that is, unless you continue to fight, and resolve that you will indeed win.

Back in August, I wrote to you about Admiral James Stockdale, a seven year Prisoner of War (POW) in Vietnam . . .

Author Jim Collins once asked Stockdale, "Who didn't survive the camps?"

Stockdale replied, "Oh that's easy. It was the POWs who thought they'd be home by Christmas."

Those who thought they'd be home by a certain date tended to despair and perish when they still found themselves in captivity after their expected freedom-date came and went. By contrast . . .

Admiral Stockdale survived caustic captivity for 7 years by accepting the brutal reality of his situation, and being confident of eventual release. This belief kept him going.

But he did NOT believe freedom would come by any specific date, or in any special way. This is what saved him from despair and death.

Collins, in his excellent book, "Good to Great," labeled these seemingly opposed ways of thinking the "Stockdale Paradox."

The Stockdale Paradox is...

Recognizing and owning the brutal facts, while holding the determination that you're going to win, no matter how long it takes.

It's not positive thinking. It's not fantasizing about how great things will be when everything goes your way, by the next election.

We must think as Stockdale thought. Victory will come at some point, if we keep fighting.

All the greatest soldiers understand the Stockdale Paradox. General George Washington and his men were camped in Valley Forge during Christmas, 1777. It was bitter cold, and there was a shortage of food and a lack of supplies -- including socks and boots. Washington noted, "...you might have tracked the army from White Marsh to Valley Forge by the blood of their feet."

Despite the bleak conditions, men were given furloughs to return home and recruit more men to return with them for the Summer 1778 campaign.

And it was at this time that Baron Von Steuben arrived and took over the training of the men, making them a more effective fighting force.

This defeat is an opportunity to test our mettle -- to better organize, and even expand our ranks.

Chesty Puller played a major role, even leading the rear guard, as his surrounded forces broke out of the noose. The enemy at Chosin suffered incredibly heavy casualties in comparison.

Admiral Stockdale returned home to his family, and took one more turn on the national stage as Ross Perot's Vice Presidential candidate. Perot-Stockdale received 19% of the vote, and sparked a movement that made federal deficits a political hot potato.

General George Washington accepted the British surrender in 1781, and went on to become the first President of the United States.

And you? What will become of you, fighting American?

The fight ends when we say it ends! Repeat that to yourself. Tell your friends. Then...

Take your members of Congress to task. No one is blameless here. No politicians in Washington is innocent of this travesty unless and until they've proven their resolve to fight with every bit of procedural impediment available to them, and demonstrated their clear intent to bring about Consumer-centered Healthcare, with positive, free market intiatives.

By now, most of you have exhausted the phone lines contacting the sellout sixty for supporting a massive overhall on healthcare which amounts to little more than a bailout for the insurance industry and a huge burden on those that still have incomes to pay taxes.

But it seems that the sellout sixty are not paying enough attention. I hope that you have already been contacting your state legislators to have them draft and pass legislation to opt out of the obama health control bill.

You see we have a tenth amendment and our states do not have to participate in federal mandates when they do not have such authority granted to them by the Constitution.

The trick is to step up now and continue to contact the sellout sixty as well as your state legislators. Even if we loose the battle we will continue to fight on to stop the socialization of this country.

Rest assured, the sellout sixty will ignore the will will of the people one last time before they are voted out of office. Others will challenge this law in the courts as well. We will prevail.

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky (R) was all over the old main stream media whining about not being able to read bills and then having to vote on them. It's not right, its not fair. While they are valid points, where was Mitch when NAFTA passed? He voted for it. Where was Mitch when CAFTA passed? He voted for it. Where was Mitch when Real ID Passed? He voted for it. Where was Mitch when George W Bush pushed for the first stimulus? He voted for it?

But now that Demon-crats have control, well he is completely and automatically against it because Demon-crats support it. So now he uses the false right/left paradigm to make voters believe that he actaully cares about our country.

Face it, he could have voted no on many unconstitutional bills passed through the senate in all the years he has been part of it, but instead, he chose to align himself with a party and not by the principles that the party was supposed to stand for.

Whatever happened to voting on principal? Democrats and Republicans alike should always check to see if any legislation they vote on violates the Constitution and oversteps the authority granted to them by it. But many will only vote the way their party dictates, the people and the law be damed. A bit ironic, since they swore an oath to uphold and defend that document.

So Mitch and others like him, stop playing games. We the people are wise to it and we know that voting for the lessor of two evils is still voting for evil. You and those like you can be replaced by REAL Conservatives and you can run off to a nursing home and live on obamacare.

Three provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act will expire on December 31. Committees in both the House and Senate have approved renewal bills, but the House version includes much stronger civil liberties protections.

Specifically, please allow the following provisions of the Patriot Act to sunset on December 31:

* The Records Provision
* The Roving Wiretaps Provision
* The Lone Wolf Provision

The evidence indicates that these provisions don't even serve their supposed purpose:

* As Cato Research Fellow Julian Sanchez says, "the successful investigations since 9/11 -- only a few of which actually involved 'plots' for attacks in the U.S. -- appear to have depended a lot more on good human intelligence and informants in the community than broad new surveillance powers." http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=10705

* And The OC Register observes that "the evidence that any of these provisions has prevented or deterred a terrorist act is somewhere between slim and none" and that if they had been successfully used, "government officials would have trumpeted the news." http://www.ocregister.com/opinion/government-222144-act-provision.html

These provisions appear to do little except allow the government to spy on innocent people and collect private data.

Please let these provisions expire. Vote against renewal. But if you insist on passing a renewal bill, favor the House bill, H.R. 3845, as opposed to the Senate's S. 1692. The House bill . . .

* Increases the government's burden of proof for the Records and Roving Wiretaps powers
* Eliminates the Lone Wolf Provision
* Reigns in the FBI's non-expiring but often-abused National Security Letters powers

H.R. 3845 will restore some of the civil liberties we lost when the Patriot Act was passed. But remember, I prefer that you do not renew these provisions. We will be no less safe, but we will be more free.

REAL ID is scheduled to go into effect on January 1. The good news is that it may be repealed by then. The bad news is that it may be replaced by something worse, the PASS ID.

Please tell Congress to repeal REAL ID and reject the PASS ID.

* 36 states will not be in compliance with REAL ID by the January 1 deadline

* Countless numbers of Americans will not be able to fly without a passport - even for domestic flights!

I insist that you take immediate steps to repeal the REAL ID Act.

* Don't rely on the Homeland Security Secretary to issue extensions or waivers for the states
* Don't replace REAL ID with the PASS ID.

The proposed PASS ID relieves states of some costs and burdens, but in some ways it's even worse than REAL ID. As the Electronic Privacy Information Center notes . . . http://epic.org/privacy/pass_id/

* The data collection requirements of PASS ID are virtually identical to those of REAL ID.
* PASS ID requires a digital facial image, which can then be used to scan individuals through close-circuit television systems to "pick a face out of a crowd."
* PASS ID requires the retention of digital copies of personal records for indefinite periods of time - this invades the privacy of innocent Americans and increases the risk of identity theft
* PASS ID would allow the use of RFID technology in identification documents. This is even worse than REAL ID, and could lead to government tracking of our movements, bringing the supposed "land of the free and home of the brave" one step closer to a police state.

The American people do not want to be monitored and tracked by the government. We do not want a national ID card, whether it's called REAL ID or PASS ID. A national ID card will only make us more vulnerable to terrorists and other criminals who can hack into government databases. Moreover, increased government monitoring and data-collecting will invite more errors and more abuse.

A NATIONAL ID CARD WILL MAKE US LESS SAFE.

I therefore insist that you completely repeal REAL ID immediately and reject the PASS ID Act too.

Genius to think that co2, the air that every human produces by simply breathing and causes plant life to flourish, thereby cleaning our air and preventing soil erosion and cleaning our streams and rivers is a commodity to be taxed. Another scheme to control We the people is to tax our very existence. So what if you refuse to pay carbon taxes? Will your life be extinguished?

The massive lies have come to the surface, but very few of our representatives in DC have stood up for the American people on this issue to have the evidence investigated and any pending legislation put on hold until all facts of climategate have come to light.

Nope, lets just sweep it under the rug and hope that the American people will be stupid enough to pay tax on breathing.
