So many people want to save money. Others are talking about going green. I wanted to provide some ways to do both.

1. Reduce meal consumption to just one a day. You save money and you save energy because you wont have to cook as much.

2. Shower only once a month. This saves water and on your water bill. I would suggest swimming at the neighbors a few times between showers or going to the public pool in your area.

3. Reduce the size of our government by 90%. This will reduce our taxes our nations overall spending and reduce the greenhouse gases in emitted DC by at least a 1000%

I hope others of you will send me more money saving going green tips. I will post them if you send them.

Now some of you may get upset with my dry sense of humor, but thats ok, you are allowed. I find it repugnant that congress tells us we have to use light bulbs filled with dangerous mercury powder in order to save the environment.

I also don't like 57 watt light bulbs. Seriously, just make the regular light bulbs. The ecconomy will prevent people from waisting electricity, I can guarantee you that. I personally have reduced my power bill by 25% by installing automatic shutoff's for my lights and using old fashioned know how.

There are lots of ways to save money and our planet if that is something that needs saving, however, looking at the track record that our government has had on the war on poverty, drugs, and the ecconomy, I think we the people are better equipped to handle the job on our own.

I watched the video and heard the pastor's side of the story and read many of the harsh criticisms because he refused to allow his vehicle be searched.

One would think that a person who is calm and speaking rationally would not have to worry about being beaten and tazed by the police, border patrol or any policing agency for non compliance.

Some assert that the Pastor was wrong and that he should simply have complied 3wiht the BP because a 1976 Supreme Court Ruling upheld the BP's use of check points.

The pastor was not disputing the check points, he was simply asking for probable cause as to be searched along with his vehicle. The BP didn't find any people hiding in the trunk, no guns, no durgs, nothing illegal.

I do not see this as an issue with the pastor, I see this as an issue with the BP who simply did not like it when an American citizen refused to comply with their every whim. His punishment was a beating compliments of the Arizona DPS.

It reminds me of a not so long ago history. The rulers beat their subjects and killed them if they did not comply with all they said.

Is this what our country is moving back towards. A complete police state? I certainly hope not.

One thing I would suggest the pastor do is to invest in some video equipment to have in his vehicle so if he is stopped by BP or any other agency that he has evidence of what just went down. Make sure that the video feed is not stored in the vehicle and that it is sent via cell phone to a secure location.

Perhaps if enough people assert their constitutional rights without violence and then sue all involved when they are violated, those who do the violating will think twice before getting a bit over zealous to force compliance.

So far 21 states have reiterated their right as a sovereign state per the Untied States Constitution and that they can reject any and all federal regulations as they see fit.

It seems strange that they would do this but not really. The US government is flat broke, many states are broke as well. The only reason most states comply with the federal government is because they use the leverage of money to get them to comply. Supply the money and the states bend to their will.

Well the federal government's well is drying up and the states will not bend to their will without that cash. The states cannot afford to continue the unfunded federal mandates and are now flexing the muscle of authority given to them by our Constitution.

In my last post Rep Jim Guest introduced a great deal of legislation to protect the citizens of Missouri and many other states like New Hampshire say their citizens will not be held under Marshall law if the Federal Government decides they need to do such a thing.

Word on the street is that Texas is now doing the same thing. I am rather surprised they were not the first since they are the only state that has ever been their own sovereign republic.

If this is something you support, then I say take action now. Contact your state reps and ask them to the same.

Don't you just love all the pretty colors? The people with joyful expressions and just showing the joy of the season with their sharing and caring attitudes? Wouldn't it be nice to see that all year long? Isn't that what we are supposed to be doing?

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, as a Christian your attitude of giving and joyful spirit should remain strong regardless of what is happening in this world. God's Word reads "Be of good cheer for I am with thee, even unto the ends of the earth."

Let me tell you, we are coming into a bad storm. The ecconomy is only going to get worse. There are talks of worldwide rioting, police agencies across the Untied States are offering food vouchers for people who turn in their guns. US military patrolling American Streets and the news goes on and on.

So why should be be of good cheer? Well, simple, God told us too. We may not like all of the things going on and the best we can do is to prepare the best we can for the hard times that are coming. Be sure to learn how to grow and preserve your own food as well as learn how to hunt and fish, plus learn as many natural remedies you can or at least buy a book or print out some from the INTERNET to use if the power is out.

If you are prepared and you put your faith in God to watch over and protect you all should be well.
