Many anti illegal immigration groups thought they found a hero in Lou Dobbs, but he recently revealed a turn of events in an interview with Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) President William Gheen.

Dobbs, now says he his a centrist and SUPPORTS a a pathway to citizenship for illegals who are currently in the country who are law abiding. However, Dobbs did not have a response to the fact that all illegal immigrants are criminals because it is illegal for them to be in the country illegally.

While Dobbs does support better enforcement of our borders and increasing enforcement efforts, this seems to be a complete 180 from many of his previous stances that the public has believed him to take.

A majority of Americans do not want a pathway to citizenship for any illegal aliens in this country. They want our current laws enforced or for us to adopt immigration policies similar to Mexico's.

Dobbs, said he would love to have groups like MALDEF and ALIPAC come to the table with him to work on a deal that would be good for America. He later stated that Mr. Gheen could come to the table at the very least to "tell me to go to hell."

I am sure that a majority of Americans have already made that statement Mr. Dobbs. In all the years I have heard him and read about him, this is the first I have ever heard him talk in support of any type of Amnesty.

Mr. Dobbs, obviously missed a golden opportunity to help this country get on track when it comes to the immigration debate and thus needs to be counted out for any type of Senate Run.
