WASHINGTON (AP) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid predicted Friday that Congress will finish its work on a massive, $790 billion economic stimulus plan, possibly by day's end, giving President Barack Obama a big victory.

I hope everyone is involved in letting their voices be heard about the stimulus bill also known around the web as porkulus.

This Legislation has all kinds of hidden gems that will continue to erode our freedoms while turning our nation into a socialist totalitarian police state.

You can sit back and think that the rest of us will call and get the job done, but you see Obama has his obamites calling and begging for this deal. He has over 13 million on his list and is doing all he can to influence policy making through the back door.

Despite the fact that the Executive is not supposed to try to influence the the legislative body, he is calling on those who signed up to support his campaign to pressure congress into voting in favor of the stimulus. This of course is no different than Cheney walking around the capitol strong arming members of congress to vote in favor of CAFTA. So much for change.

We need to make sure that our voices are heard loud and clear. Get on those phones and tell them a resounding NO to the stimulus.
