The American people don’t want a national ID card. Nevertheless, the REAL ID Act remains on the books, and the PASS Act (S. 1261) is still waiting in the wings to replace it. Here’s the official description of the PASS Act . . .

“A bill to repeal title II of the REAL ID Act of 2005 and amend title II of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to better protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personally identifiable information collected by States when issuing driver’s licenses and identification documents, and for other purposes.”

That doesn’t really tell you much does it? It sounds like the PASS Act is designed to protect you from identity theft. Some people could also assume that the REAL ID Act is being repealed, but in reality . . .

* The PASS Act is similar to the REAL ID scheme for a national identity card
* The PASS Act could make identity theft easier because of it’s reliance on centralized databases and RFID chips that can be read at a distance

Our politicians are nothing if not tenacious. They don’t quit, so we can’t quit either. We must show them that we have more staying power than they do. It’s time to ask, once again, that Congress repeal the REAL ID Act and kill the PASS Act. You can send a letter to your Congressional employees using our Educate the Powerful System (sm).

Here’s what I’m saying in my personal comments to my House rep., and to my two Senators . . .

“I’ve asked you repeatedly to repeal the READ ID Act. Please be aware that I know you have the power to introduce legislation to accomplish this goal. You do not need permission from anyone to draft and introduce such legislation. Just do it, so that others can follow the banner you raise. Neither I, nor the vast majority of the American people, want either the REAL ID Act or its proposed replacement, the so-called PASS Act. You can earn major brownie points with me by introducing legislation to repeal REAL ID, but you will earn major demerits if you do not introduce such legislation. I am paying attention.”

In addition, if one of your Senators appears in the following list of co-sponsors of the PASS Act (S.1261) please call them and say the following: “I’m disappointed that my Senator is co-sponsoring the PASS Act. I would much prefer that he introduce legislation repeal the REAL ID Act.”

When the White House sets up a special email account to counter supposed disinformation, they opened up something not seen since the McCarthy era in this nation.

Adolf Hitler himself would be proud of the tactics being used by the Obama Administration and the democrat party to silence the majority of Americans who do not want socialized health care.

Obama is calling for his supporters to speak up to knock on doors and push his agenda and to report anyone who says anything different than he about this issue.

Obama prided himself to be a community activist, one who gathered grassroots activists to get the representatives to hear the untied voices of the people, but now he doesn't like being on the receiving end of the same type of activism.

My suggestion to those who want to report disinformation is to report your members of congress and Obama himself to flag@whitehouse.gov and give the talking points and the disinformation Obama and the members of congress are giving us. Tell them we need these people investigated right away.

We the people are united in our voices. Nearly 77% of Americans regardless of political affiliation know that ObamaCare will not reduce health care costs.

Obama, Pelosi and the other legislators who want to tell We the People to Shut up can forget about it. You can send in your goons to beat us up, you can try to keep us out of the meetings, you can even avoid having town hall meetings altogether, but you will not silence us. We will speak up and we are waiting for the elections so we can show you how Americans from all sides of the political spectrum feel about you not listening to us.

The Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is an organization that anyone who is a homeschooling parent or are considering homeschooling their children need to look at.

To preserve and advance the fundamental, God-given, constitutional right of parents and others legally responsible for their children to direct their education. In so doing, we rely on two fundamental freedoms—parental rights and religious freedom. We advocate for these freedoms in the courtrooms, before government officials, and in the public arena. Additionally, we assist other educational organizations in similar activities, where possible and appropriate.

Since 1983, Home School Legal Defense Association’s primary goal has remained the same—to bring together a large number of homeschooling families so that each can have a low-cost method of obtaining quality legal defense. HSLDA gives families the freedom to homeschool without facing legal threats alone. Through many families sticking together, we have been able to keep the cost of a year’s membership close to the rate that you would have to pay for an hour of an attorney’s time almost anywhere else.

After a family joins HSLDA, there are no further charges of any kind for defending them in court. HSLDA pays in full all attorney fees, expert witness costs, travel expenses, and all other court costs permissible by state law for us to pay.

The vast majority of contacts member families face are successfully resolved through our early intervention without any court action. Many times, HSLDA attorneys call or write letters on behalf of members contacted by local officials. For those who wind up in court, HSLDA provides full representation at every stage of legal proceedings.

HSLDA’s board of directors also operates the Home School Foundation—a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that supports HSLDA, other like-minded organizations, and special programs such as the Special Needs Children’s Fund.

National health Care will result in less health care for all and even that will not be equally done.

Those who are physically or mentally challenged will have limits on the care given to them because there will be strict caps in place.

People who have reached the age of 60 will also see there health care coverage diminish. Priority care will be given to the youth because they are more likely to bring in more revenues to help pay for the costs of the care given to them.

Under Obamacare, your choices of care are limited to the choices made for you buy the health care czar for yourself and your children.

Even though it was offered to them, our members of congress declined to accept an amendment that would require all members of COngress and the senate partake in Obamacare.

Yet, they refused to let that amendment out of committee and stuck with the plan that is better than most private insurance plans and they get to have it for the rest of their lives if they have served more than two terms in office.

Americans are not taking this socialized health care sitting down. When their members of congress go out in public to speak, they are there. Americans are not happy and are letting their feeling know.

Rep Doggett met with constituents outside a grocery store in south Austin regarding the health care bill. Apparently the event was mostly advertised in liberal leaning local publications. He did not bring a megaphone, so hearing what he had to say was difficult. When he started making the move to leave, the crowd erupted chanting "Just say no!" His worker got the car ready to shuttle him away but the crowd surrounded it and it took a while for him to get out of the parking lot. The whole time, the "Just say no!" chant continued. It probably won't matter - from his facial expression, body language, and what was heard to come out of his mouth, he's for the the health care bill in its present form and has no openness to change on that.

TAKE ACTION
Your Legislators are coming home for a break this week. Be sure to contact them. Call them, set up meetings with them and by all means visit any town hall meeting they may have. You can usually get this from their web sites and be sure to sing up for their email alerts. You can also find out by calling them.

If you learn of these town hall meetings, spread the word, use the social media sites, call your freinds and family, church members or civic group members you belong to and show up.

Send me the information: Tell me where the town hall meetings are and who is hosting them. Give me the details and I will put the word out too. Take cameras and get the clips on youtube and send them to me as well.

Be sure to speak to them in front of the press. Tell them you are not happy with the job they are doing. Tell them you want the unconstitutional socialization of America to stop.

If they don't listen, then you tell them they get no second chances. Go to your board of elections and register to run against them. If they wont listen to common sense, if they wont listen to the voice of reason, if they ignore their oath of office, run against them.

Do this not only on the federal level but in any level of government. You want real change? Well, you can wait for king Obama to create change for the worse or you can create change for the good and take us back to a limited constitutionally run nation.

Do these things and not only will you guarantee that you will live free but so will future generations.
